Daniel Schallau is a published American children’s book illustrator known for his creative animal drawings, imaginative typography and otherworldly detailed drawings of oversized vehicles, giant trees and penguin cities.
He works with pen and ink and colored pencil and also uses an iPad Pro, illustrating mainly in Procreate.
Daniel lives with his family in Tokyo, Japan.
Daniel has a degree in architecture, but he much prefers creating imaginary architectural wonders, instead.
